There hasn’t been much good news at Tottenham Hotspur over the past 24 hours.
Lo Celso returns
Spurs have had to shut down the first-team section of their training ground, after a covid outbreak among their squad.
Tottenham’s Europa League game with Rennes is now off, and their clash with Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend is in serious doubt.
Antonio Conte’s side did actually train yesterday though, before the news that their game was postponed.
Spurs had depleted numbers out on the training ground, but Giovani Lo Celso was at least back involved.

Lo Celso has been out injured in recent weeks for Spurs, and has not featured under Conte since the very first game of his time in charge against Everton.
But the Argentine international now seems on the verge of a full comeback.
And many Tottenham fans were pleased to see him back in training.
Big moments for Lo Celso
These are important months for Lo Celso.
There has been some suggestions that Conte could sell him in the January transfer window, given his limited impact at Spurs so far.
Lo Celso has proven when playing for his country that he could have something to offer though.
The playmaker is often Argentina’s best player, but he has rarely shown his best form in England.
Lo Celso could, theoretically, be an important player under Conte though.
He would be capable of playing alongside Pierre Emile Hojbjerg or Oliver Skipp in midfield, or he could even play behind Harry Kane.
But he surely needs to find some form quickly, otherwise his time at Spurs does appear to be coming to an end.
