Pundit Simon Jordan has blasted Everton attacker Dele Alli, as he continues to decline in what has been an upsettingly downward spiral in his career.
As recently as in March, the £40 million (Sky Sports) man had to respond to his Besiktas manager’s jibe at him for missing training due to the rain in what has been a disastrous loan spell.

Now, pundit Simon Jordan has been heavily critical of Dele Alli, especially as his move to Everton has been a massive let-down.
Pundit Simon Jordan slams Everton star Dele Alli
When the England international joined the Toffees, many claimed that Frank Lampard’s presence would aid his redemption, considering his similar style of play to the Chelsea legend.
But after just a couple of months at Goodison Park, the 27-year-old was shipped out to Turkey, where he has also failed to recreate his magic.
As the decline of Dele Alli continues, pundit Simon Jordan has not shied away from criticising the Everton midfielder to say the least.
“I don’t know. Dele Alli, for two or three years now, has wasted everybody’s time. His own, his employers’, his teammates’. He’s gone from being a player that I always felt was overhyped”, he told talkSPORT.
He continued, “I used to have debates with [former Man United playmaker] Gordon Strachan, I would bow to Gordon’s knowledge every single day of the week but Gordon talked to me about how he was the best no.10 in Europe.”
“Now, that may well have been a decent argument at the time when he was flying back in 2018, but he’s a shadow of himself and he’s chosen this path.”
“You get to see someone turning up at Everton on a move which was a downward move in terms of there was no real fee involved. That was the valuation of him and he turns up on a pitch looking like a refugee as I said before.”
Unfortunately, this remains the general sentiment surrounding Dele Alli, as Simon Jordan is certainly right when emphasising just how much his stock has plummeted, especially since moving to Everton.
