Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter to rumours that Newcastle want to bring Ainsley Maitland-Niles to the club.
The Daily Mail have claimed that Newcastle have turned their attention to the Arsenal midfielder after they were snubbed by Mario Lemina.
Maitland-Niles isn’t the only Arsenal player Newcastle have been interested in this summer because they have been looking to bring Joe Willock back to the club.
The problem facing the Magpies here is that they can’t loan two players from the same club during the same season, but of course, they can purchase one on a permanent basis and then loan the other.
Arsenal supporters have provided a mixed reaction to Steve Bruce being keen on another one of their players.
But some cannot see anything happening because there has been a lot of talk without any action, as has been proven by the Willock saga.
Whilst Maitland-Niles struggled and suffered relegation whilst on-loan at West Brom last season.
It was a different story for Willock, who couldn’t stop scoring for the North-East outfit.
But it’s pretty clear if those in Black and White were asked who they would prefer next season then Willock will always be their guy.
