Liverpool central defender Virgil van Dijk played with Scott Brown at Celtic.

Van Dijk, who is one of the best central defenders in the Premier League and won the Champions League with Liverpool last season, played with Brown at Celtic.
The Netherlands international believe that the midfielder is a legend at the Hoops, and has raved about him.
Van Dijk said about Brown on Celtic’s official Twitter page: “He’s a fantastic guy, he helped me a lot.
“He’s up there with the five best captains I’ve worked with. Opponent players know that they can’t really mess with him. He can be seen as a legend for Celtic

Brown has been at Celtic since 2007 and has been a consistent figure for the Glasgow giants.
The Scotsman has established himself as one of the best and most combative midfielders in the Scottish Premiership, and even at the age of 34, he is still going strong.
Back in February 2019, former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers – now in charge of Premier League club Leicester City and then the boss of Celtic – described Brown as “fearless” on the Hoops’ official Youtube channel (click here to read more).
