With Harry Kane linked to some of the world’s richest clubs in recent months, just how much longer can Mauricio Pochettino hold onto his star striker?
It’s been another excellent season so far for Mauricio Pochettino’s men, who have moved up to 2nd in the league after a 0-0 draw with Sunderland. Tottenham Hotspur look like a team transformed under their Argentinian boss, and are one of the most likely contenders for the Premier League title this year along with leaders Chelsea, and arch-rivals Arsenal.
Of their young English players, the trio of Danny Rose, Dele Alli and Harry Kane are all stealing the headlines once again this season, with the latter getting extra attention. Kane, who is now England’s first choice striker, has proven without any doubt that he isn’t just some one season wonder, as he looks to hit the 20+ goals mark for the third year in a row.
But will Spurs be able to keep hold of him? Tottenham Hotspur have a history of losing some of their highest profile players in the past. HITC Sport asked Tottenham fans for their thoughts on the future of “Their ‘Arry”.

Asked where they thought Harry Kane might go, Spurs fans mostly seemed resilient to the idea that their striker would stick at the club for as long as Pochettino did. Another Spurs fan suggested that Kane was “a bit dim” and therefore wanted to “stay where things are nice, and normal!” A fairly scathing review of Tottenham’s best striker, there!
Another Spurs fan suggested that Kane might have his head turned by Real Madrid. Tottenham Hotspur have lost both Luka Modric and Gareth Bale to the Galacticos before, so it’s certainly in the realms of possibility.
Asked if Harry Kane might be getting bored of not winning trophies, one Spurs fan added “Nah…he doesn’t play for Arsenal!”
