Martin Odegaard starred for Norway this week during their international friendlies, yet the Arsenal star was in especially good form against Armenia.
After scoring in their 2-0 win against Slovakia, Odegaard once again started for Norway as the Scandinavian nation tore Armenia to shreds with an incredible 9-0 win in Oslo.
Despite the huge scoreline, Odegaard only managed a single assist as both Josh King and Erling Haaland ran rampant on the Armenian defence, with the pair scoring five of the nine goals on the night.
Whilst Arsenal fans will be relieved that Odegaard wasn’t injured, supporters were also blown away by one passage of play from the silk midfielder that sent the Norway home crowd into raptures.
Indeed, Odegaard has always been one to toy with rival players, and the clip above showed just that as the Norway captain played the Armenian defence like a fiddle before winning a corner.
A £30m signing last summer from Real Madrid as per the Daily Mail, Odegaard has been incredible for Arsenal this season and has proven to be one of the buys of the year, with the midfielder seemingly getting better with each passing game.
Odegaard’s form for Norway will excite Arsenal fans amid Premier League finale

When Odegaard returns to north London this week from Norway, Arsenal will be preparing for what could be their most important run of Premier League fixtures in some time.
After all, the Gunners stand on the cusp of a return to the UEFA Champions League. And after Odegaard’s impressive performances for Norway, Arsenal fans will be excited to see what the midfielder can do in the final weeks of the Premier League season.
