According to Fabrizio Romano, Ivan Perisic has accepted a two-year contract from Tottenham, and is now on the verge of a move to the Premier League.
The Croatia international leaves Inter Milan after making 254 appearances for Inter Milan, who paid €20m (£17m) to sign him from VfL Wolfsburg in 2015.
Now, the 33-year-old will undergo a medical with Spurs, and discuss personal terms with the north Londoners.
If Tottenham fans weren’t already excited, then they surely will be after seeing what Perisic did to Rudiger – one of the best defenders around – during his days at Roma.
What’s the story?
Well, few defenders in the Premier League have conquered Rudiger.
However, before the German swapped Rome for West London, he was twisted in knots by Perisic, who humiliated him during a game between Inter Milan and Roma.
As you can see above, the Croatian embarrassed Rudiger, sitting him on his backside twice before swinging a cross in.
If Perisic can do this to a defender of Rudiger’s quality, then imagine what he can do against those of lesser quality.
Ivan Perisic will thrive at Tottenham

In our view, this is a fantastic signing for Antonio Conte.
Perisic boasts a phenomenal amount of experience, amassing 550 appearances in total throughout his career so far at a number of top clubs, including Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
The Split-born star has also racked up 113 caps for Croatia, and scored in a World Cup final for his country – coincidentally against Hugo Lloris.

There may be concerns over his age, but in 49 appearances this season, Perisic still managed to score ten goals, while also providing nine assists.
That is an excellent return, primarily from a wing-back position, so it seems he still has plenty left in the tank to offer Tottenham.
Keep an eye on this deal, as there could soon be an announcement.
