Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic has agreed a two-year contract with Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, but Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea could make a better offer, according to The Independent.

The report has claimed that Tottenham have agreed to pay Perisic £4 million per year (£77,000 per week) as salary.

Chelsea and Juventus are keen on the Croatia international winger as well, according to the report, which has added that both the Blues and the Bianconeri will ‘strengthen their offers’.

However, sources close to Perisic believe that Tottenham will beat both Chelsea and Juventus to the signature of the 33-year-old, according to the report.

Perisic is out of contract at Inter this summer and will make an announcement on his future on Monday.

Tottenham Hotspur over Chelsea for Ivan Perisic

In our opinion, Ivan Perisic will choose Tottenham Hotspur over Chelsea even if the Blues make a better offer.

The Croatian knows Conte from their time at Inter where they won the Serie A title in 2020-21.

Conte reportedly wants Perisic to play as a wing-back, and the Croatian could get regular playing time at Tottenham.

Perisic will surely want to succeed in the Premier League, and working with a manager who knows him will also enhance his chances of doing so.
