Tottenham could reportedly face Romelu Lukaku tomorrow in the League Cup semi-final, with the Chelsea star set to feature for the west London side.

According to the Telegraph, the 28-year-old striker is likely to return to the fold for Thomas Tuchel’s side after being dropped from the squad for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Liverpool.

Lukaku was punished after an incredible interview with Sky Sports Italia that saw the striker talk about his love for Inter Milan as well as how he is not enjoying the system he is playing under Tuchel.

As you can expect, the interview exploded on social media and has seen Lukaku’s reputation amongst Chelsea fans tarnished. Yet despite this, the former Inter star is set to return to the team as soon as tomorrow.

Chelsea host Spurs in the first leg of the League Cup semi-final, and Antonio Conte’s side will doubt be eager to impress with silverware on the line.

However, Lukaku’s inclusion will make it a difficult task for the north London side, especially with the defence currently hampered by injuries.

And as you can expect, the news of Lukaku’s return to the Chelsea team has made some Tottenham supporters on social media worried about tomorrow night’s match in west London.
