Liverpool fans have been praised by Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli after the Jürgen Klopp favourite hailed the atmosphere at Anfield.
The Brazil international – who cost Arsenal just £6m – was asked which ground, aside from the Emirates Stadium, has the best atmosphere in the Premier League, which is when Liverpool were mentioned.

Well, the South American has been praised by Klopp in the past, with the German calling Arsenal’s No.11 “such a talented boy” when speaking to Sky Sports.
Now, Martinelli has somewhat returned the favour, heaping praise on the fortress Klopp has created on Merseyside.
Speaking to Arsenal’s Red Members, the 21-year-old said: “Anfield. It’s a very good atmosphere over there.”
Liverpool fans will surely enjoy hearing that come from one of the best young players in Europe.
Despite their struggles in the Premier League this season, the Reds are clearly still a force to be reckoned with across the Premier League when it comes to creating a formidable atmosphere inside Anfield.
Liverpool envious of Arsenal gems
Liverpool have already been keeping one eye on Bukayo Saka amid contract talks with Arsenal, so it wouldn’t surprise us if Klopp also has an interest in signing Martinelli based on his previous comments.
That was according to the Daily Mail, as the England international will only have 12 months left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium once the season is over.
Whatever happens, Arsenal should feel proud of their recruitment, given the fact someone as esteemed as Klopp is quite clearly envious of the diamonds Mikel Arteta has at his disposal.
