Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United have been linked with Felix Nmecha, but there is now a chance that neither the Magpies nor the Red Devils would be able to sign the VfL Wolfsburg midfielder.
Felix Nmecha blow for Newcastle United and Manchester United
Sport1 reporter Patrick Berger has claimed on Twitter that Newcastle United and Manchester United are interested in signing Felix Nmecha from VfL Wolfsburg in the summer transfer window.
Berger has reported that Wolfsburg would sell the 22-year-old Germany international midfielder for €25 million (£21.50 million).
However, it is Borussia Dortmund who could end up signing the youngster this summer.
According to Berger, Dortmund are in pole position to secure the services of Nmecha and are close to reaching full agreement with the 22-year-old.

In our opinion, even if Felix Nmecha joins Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window, Newcastle United and Manchester United should not give up on signing him in the coming years.
After all, it is unlikely that the midfielder will stay at Dortmund forever.
Newcastle and Manchester United should keep tabs on the youngster and on his progress at Dortmund.
Dortmund regularly challenge for the Bundesliga title and also compete in the UEFA Champions League.
