Speaking on Tottenham Hotspur’s YouTube channel, Dele Alli has been speaking about Erik Lamela’s tendency to foul people in training.
The Argentine has a tendency to get booked in matches for Tottenham, and it seems as though he carries that same type of ferocity in practice.
What’s been said then?
Alli, along with Matt Doherty, was playing a game where he had to name the Tottenham players most likely to do certain things.
The pair were asked which player was most likely to foul them on the training ground, and they were both quick to claim that Lamela is the man who’s always committing infringements.
“Yeah, he just loves it doesn’t he. He’s very aggressive in training and stuff,” Alli said.

Not surprising
When you see how Lamela plays on the pitch, it’s not all that surprising to hear that he’s aggressive on the training ground.
The Argentine chases every ball, and he’s a real warrior, never shying away from putting a foot in when the opportunity presents itself.
Of course, when you’re kicking lumps out of your own teammates it’s a bit of an issue, and we can imagine every Spurs player wants to be on Lamela’s team when it comes to inter-squad matches.
The Argentine is certainly an aggressive player, and that’s why some Spurs fans love him so much.
