Celtic legend David Provan has written in The Scottish Sun that Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is not at his best yet.
The former Celtic star believes that Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst should not get over-excited about Morelos despite his heroics on Thursday evening.
The Colombia international striker scored both goals for Rangers in their 2-0 win against Sparta Prague at Ibrox in Europa League Group A.
The result saw Rangers progress to the next round of the European competition.
Verdict on Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos
Provan wrote in The Scottish Sun: “Spare me the idea two goals against a rotten Sparta Prague make Morelos a player again. The Colombian’s been miles off it this season.
“Where Rangers might have got £15m for him some time ago, they’ll be lucky to get half that figure now.”

Big player for Rangers
Rangers striker Morelos has not been in great form this season.
We cannot ignore that.
The 25-year-old has scored four goals and provided two assists in 11 Scottish Premiership matches for the Gers so far this season.
Morelos scored 11 goals and provided three assists in 22 league starts last season.

However, we cannot also understate Morelos’s quality.
In our opinion, the 25-year-old, who earns £33,000 per week (Salary Sport), is a very good player.
Morelos is a key figure at Rangers and will be massive for new Gers manager Van Bronckhorst.
