Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with moves for the Sheffield United talent.

A Premier League club – which is not Liverpool, Everton nor Tottenham Hotspur – has been knocked back by Sheffield United after making an informal approach for David Brooks, the Sheffield Star reports.
It is claimed the unnamed outfit disclosed that they were willing to pay more than £10 million for Brooks, who United say is not for sale.
Though Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham have all been linked with moves for the Wales international, neither are the team in question, according to the Sheffield Star.

Brooks burst onto the scene at the 2017 Toulon Tournament – which he won as an England player – and made his Sheffield United debut earlier in the campaign.
His performances since then are said to have alerted a string of top flight clubs, with Newcastle and West Ham linked [Daily Mirror] along with Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham.

However, it would appear that any interested party must cough up if they wish to sign the 20-year-old, with United recently tying him to a new four-year deal which is said to include no buy-out clause.
Who is behind the alleged Brooks approach, if not Liverpool, Everton or Tottenham Hotspur?
