Joe Rogan will be present for a card that he’s expressed concerns about, despite some of his reservations.

He confirmed back in March that he’d be part of the broadcast team for the White House event, though he admitted at the time that he wasn’t exactly looking forward to it.

Rogan has criticised ‘Freedom 250’, calling it more of a spectacle than a proper fight night, and questioned whether the circumstances might negatively affect the athletes involved.

Even with his doubts about holding an event like this right now, Rogan will still be among those getting a first-hand look at what unfolds.

Joe Rogan confirmed for UFC White House commentary team

MMA Junkie has reported that the broadcast team for the upcoming UFC White House card on Paramount+ has been confirmed, with Joe Rogan among those assigned to the event.

Most fans will already be familiar with the broadcast line-up, as there aren’t many changes from what people have come to expect. That includes the commentary trio of Jon Anik, Joe Rogan and Daniel Cormier, which has become a regular feature at these major events.

Din Thomas will also be offering his thoughts throughout, stepping in to provide analysis when needed. The ring announcer role sees Bruce Buffer back in action after a short break, adding another familiar face to an already established group of broadcasters.

Megan Olivi and Heidi Androl will both handle reporting duties and conduct interviews as usual. Hosting coverage before and after the fights is Brendan Fitzgerald, who is joined by former champions Michael Bisping, Dominick Cruz and Chris Weidman – another line-up that fans will recognise instantly.

Laura Sanko rounds out coverage by hosting fan events at The Ellipse for those unable to secure tickets to what promises to be one of the year’s most talked-about cards. The full schedule kicks off next Friday night UK time at 6:00 pm (1:00 pm EST).
