Arman Tsarukyan has put his money where his mouth is by backing Justin Gaethje to pull off a massive upset at the White House next weekend.
Tsarukyan was initially set as the backup fighter in case either Gaethje or Ilia Topuria couldn’t make it to fight night.
But he may have ruled himself out after placing a staggering $1 million bet on Gaethje to win at UFC Freedom 250.
Some bookmakers are offering odds as high as 4/1 on the veteran to land an unexpected victory over Topuria.
The Georgian-born Spaniard’s last two stoppage wins were against Charles Oliveira and Max Holloway, both of whom have finishes over Gaethje.

Arman Tsarukyan backs underdog with massive bet on UFC White House main event
Arman Tsarukyan, appearing on a livestream alongside Deen The Great and four-weight boxing world champion Adrien Broner, shared his thoughts on the UFC White House card. During the conversation, he made it clear he was backing Justin Gaethje – and followed it up by placing an extraordinary bet.
He surprised everyone watching by pulling out his phone and placing a $1 million wager on the American to pull off a historic win. Tsarukyan then joked that his dad would not be pleased with such reckless spending.
There are questions over whether the bet was genuine. At one point, Tsarukyan had to ask how many zeroes were in a million. However, he did show his screen to the camera, indicating that if the bet was real, he would stand to collect $5.7 million.
Gaethje is a heavy underdog with all bookmakers, given his advanced age and recent performances. It was only two years ago that he was flattened by Max Holloway at UFC 300, and Topuria gave the same treatment to him a few months later.
