Two Tottenham first-team players could return to action in the their FA Cup third round clash against Morecambe on Sunday.
Ryan Sessegnon’s season has been heavily disrupted by a number of injuries and he last featured in mid-December, playing 86 minutes of Spurs’ pulsating 2-2 draw with Liverpool.

He’s back fit again now, though, and Antonio Conte has suggested that a cup tie against lower league opposition is the perfect opportunity to reintroduce him.
Sessegnon and Dier could return for Tottenham vs Morecambe
Meanwhile, Eric Dier is also back available following a minor illness that saw him miss out on the midweek EFL Cup semi-final first-leg defeat to Chelsea.
Dier has started all 18 of Spurs’ Premier League fixtures so far this season but has been used sparingly in other competitions.
“Ryan is okay, and available for the game on Sunday,” said Conte on Friday [Tottenhamhotspur.com]. “For sure, this could be a good opportunity to see him again. That’s good news for us.”
“Eric Dier had a training session with us today. That’s more good news.
“He missed Chelsea because he was ill. Today, he had a training session, and he’s available for the game on Sunday.”

Following a hectic run of fixtures, Conte is likely to ring the changes on Sunday against League One Morecambe.
The fact that Sessegnon and Dier are back fit and available gives him more options, with minutes particularly important for Sessegnon as he looks to put a difficult first half of the campaign behind him.
The Shrimps will be out to make this tie an uncomfortable experience for the hosts, though, and they come into the game full of confidence after a stunning 4-3 comeback win over Doncaster Rovers last weekend.
