The Telegraph have reported that Newcastle United are prepared to end their interest in Sven Botman, who is on the radar of Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur as well.
The report has claimed that Lille have changed their mind about accepting £30 million from Newcastle for Botman and are now demanding £36 million for the 22-year-old central defender.
Newcastle could now reportedly walk away from a deal.
And this will encourage both Arsenal and Tottenham.

The two North London clubs have been linked with Lille centre-back Botman
La Repubblica reported last week Arsenal and Manchester United have made contact in regard to signing Botman from Lille in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal and Tottenham are big and rich clubs, and they could be willing to pay £36 million for a 22-year-old who is apparently better than Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk.
Botman made 25 appearances in Ligue 1 for Lille this past season.
The Lille no. 4 scored three goals and gave one assist in those matches.
