Travis Kelce’s appearance at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am once again drew large galleries and plenty of attention.
The Kansas City Chiefs star has become one of the event’s headline attractions, blending NFL stardom with celebrity golf culture.
But his round on Friday included an unfortunate moment late in the day.
A wayward shot on the 18th hole drifted toward spectators. It marked the third time Kelce has struck a fan during a golf event.
Travis Kelce rushes to check on fan after wayward 18th tee shot
Kelce shanked his shot on the final hole, with the ball striking a female spectator. The woman was later identified as Edenne Flinn of Salinas, California.
He immediately shouted “fore” and quickly made his way over as tournament staff attended to her.
Kelce checked that she was OK and signed an autograph before play continued.

The incident follows two similar moments in recent years. Kelce struck a spectator at Lake Tahoe in 2025, and in 2024, footage showed him rushing to comfort a fan who had been hit in the head by one of his shots.
While unfortunate, his response on each occasion has been immediate.
Keith Mitchell praises Travis Kelce’s handling of spotlight
Kelce’s playing partner, Keith Mitchell, spoke positively about how the NFL star carries himself on and off the course.
“He’s got a great way about him, but when you’re with him, you don’t feel like he’s Travis Kelce dating Taylor Swift,” he said.
Mitchell also highlighted how Kelce interacted with fans throughout the round.
“He was, you know, high-fiving a bunch of kids and taking pictures. He handled it like an absolute pro,” he added.
Even with heightened attention surrounding him, Kelce’s presence continues to draw crowds at pro-am golf events.
