NFL star and husband-to-be of Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, might be nearing the end of his football career and it looks like he’ll need to hone his golf skills in retirement as well.
Kelce is, like so many in big American sports, very much into his golf and is among a number of big names trying to improve at the game.
Along with big brother Jason, Kelce has been out on the fairways more than once during 2025 with very mixed results.
Sure, the NFL legend can play and he’s been seen hitting some excellent shots along the way.
However, during a boozy round in the summer of this year, things nearly ended in disaster for Kelce as he nailed a spectator with a wayward shot.

There is always a risk for any golf fan going to a tournament or event that they will get hit by the golf ball.
That is just part and parcel of going and being up close but when it comes to the celebs and pro-ams, the risk increases. A LOT!
For one unlucky spectator in the summer, it was their turn to take a bump as the popular Kelce was the wayward golfer.
Despite being surrounded by security and being a more than capable player, Kelce somehow managed to fire his iron shot directly towards an onlooking fan, where it made a more than sweet connection around his neck.
Luckily, there was no serious injury for this supporter and after a quick cuddle and autograph from the legendary tight end, Kelce and the fan were on their merry way.
Still, with Kelce and brother Jason sinking a few too many beers and shots on the day, it does beg the question of if drinking and golfing go hand in hand.
On this occasion, clearly not, as Kelce very much got away with one.
