Scotland fans have travelled to London en-masse for tonight’s Euro 2020 clash with England at Wembley – and Rangers fans have been left questioning the apparent double standards as pictures emerged of the mess left in Leicester Square this morning.

After thousands of Rangers fans gathered to celebrate the club’s record 55th title win, there was widespread condemnation and demands for the club to have done more to avoid fans meeting up to party.

Many pointed to the rising numbers of Covid cases as the reason why Rangers fans celebrating in their thousands was “selfish” and “dangerous” however, with numbers far greater than they were a month ago, the silence this morning is deafening.

With as many as 20,000 Scotland fans apparently heading for the capital despite only 3000 having tickets – as well as there being no fanzone for the Tartan Army to watch the game – it’s hard to see exactly what is different about the two.
