Pedro Porro has posted on Twitter ‘You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have left’ after he appeared to delete his social media accounts in the wake of Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth.

If Pedro Porro wanted to get a taste or feel of Tottenham, and what they are all about, well, he would have got all his answers during these past few months.

After joining the club during the January transfer window, he has been through it all, including Antonio Conte getting booted out of the club for his post-match rant and Spurs losing 3-2 to a relegation-threatened team over the weekend.

Life at Tottenham started off in a disastrous manner for Porro because his side were smashed 4-1 at Leicester City in what was his debut for the club – Tim Sherwood let rip straightaway.

Things started to pick up, from there on in, but he hit his biggest stumping block on Saturday.

Tottenham fans noticed the 23-year-old delete his social media accounts, in the wake of that stoppage-time Bournemouth defeat, but he is now back on those platforms, including with a message to supporters.

“You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have left,” wrote Porro on Twitter. “Thanks for the messages of love.”

ONLY ONE WAY TO REACT

Tottenham are in the thick of a fight, not just for Champions League football, but Europe, altogether.

If they continue down this current road, then they are risking the chance of dropping out of the top seven altogether, especially with the late charge from Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.

Tottenham’s next game is an away tie to a Newcastle United team that got smoked 3-0 by Villa on Saturday, so you can bet your bottom dollar they are going to throw some serious punches at Spurs and they better be ready to react.
