Tim Sherwood has criticised Tottenham Hotspur right wing-back Pedro Porro on Sky Sports News (3:45pm, February 11, 2023) for his performance against Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Antonio Conte’s Tottenham suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Leicester away from home at the King Power Stadium today.
Spurs were really bad against the former Premier League champions, especially in the first half.
Pedro Porro started for Tottenham as the right wing-back.
The 23-year-old joined Spurs in the January transfer window.
Former Tottenham manager Sherwood was following the match, and he was not impressed by the Spain international at all.
Sherwood noted that the right wing-back could not defend at all.

Sherwood said about Porro (3:45pm, February 11, 2023): “Pedro Porro is making his debut for Tottenham today.
“He is all over the place. The boys just wants to run forward, he wants to play as a winger.”
Disappointing
In our view, Pedro Porro had a really poor game for Tottenham Hotspur against Leicester City.
Now, we have to make it clear that the 23-year-old was not the only Tottenham player who struggled.
A number of other Spurs players also had a bad game.
However, we still cannot excuse Porro for his performance defensively.
The right wing-back was defensively flawed, and although he did try, he was not particularly effective.
