Spurs ace Dele Alli spoke exclusively to the club’s official website ahead of his side’s clash with Real Madrid at Wembley tonight, and shared his excitement at the prospect of locking horns with the reigning European champions.

The 21-year-old has served his three-match ban, after receiving a red card against Gent in the Europa League last season, and is available for selection against Zinedine Zidane’s side tonight.

Dele has failed to replicate the sensational form that he produced for club and country last season, registering just three goals and a single assist in 10 Premier League outings thus far.

It will surely only be a matter of time before he manages to recapture that sizzling form, however, and tonight’s game against Madrid could be just what he needs to breath fire into his season.

And Dele shared how he has been looking forward to the clash against Los Blancos at Wembley all season long, when speaking exclusively to TottenhamHotspur.com:

“I’m really looking forward to it. Obviously it’s been hard to be sitting on the sidelines watching and knowing that you can’t play but the team have been doing really well so hopefully I can get on the pitch. I’ve been looking forward to this one since the start of the season, counting each game and ticking them off the list as we’ve been going along.”

If Mauricio Pochettino’s men do in fact beat the Spanish giants tonight, they could secure their place in the draw for the last 16 of the competition, if the APOEL vs Borussia Dortmund game finishes all square.
