Tottenham’s first team paid tribute to Gian Piero Ventrone following the passing of their fitness coach on Thursday.

Will Lankshear is already showing promise at Tottenham
Tottenham hosted Wolves at Hotspur Way in the Under-18 Premier League Cup on Saturday.
It looked like being a nightmare day for Tottenham as Owen Farmer racked up a hat-trick for the visitors.
Mikey Moore pulled one back before it turned in the Will Lankshear show.
The 17-year-old striker came off the bench with 20 minutes to play and quickly bagged a brace, including a dramatic 97th minute equaliser.
This was Lankshear’s debut for Tottenham and it turned into a dream afternoon for the teenager.
Tottenham confirmed the signing of Lanskhear on deadline day as he made the move from Sheffield United.
The Examiner claimed that Tottenham had agreed a deal worth £2.5million for Lankshear, who was only released by Tottenham’s rivals Arsenal in 2021.
Arsenal seemingly didn’t see Lankshear’s potential but Tottenham were more than happy to lure him back to North London.
Allegedly a boyhood Tottenham fan hailing from a family of Spurs supporters, the late move in September was something of a dream for Lankshear and his father.
It has taken a while for Lankshear to pull on that Tottenham shirt but it was well worth the wait as he made a staggering impact off the bench.
Lankshear will now hope for more playing time and if more goals can come with it, Tottenham will be delighted – all whilst maybe leaving Arsenal feeling that they let a real gem go.
