Tottenham are one of three Premier League clubs reportedly monitoring Queen’s Park Rangers goalkeeper Seny Dieng, with Arsenal once linked with signing the Championship goalkeeper.
According to Guardian journalist Will Unwin, Spurs, Brentford and Brighton & Hove Albion are all keeping tabs on the 28-year-old shot-stopper, with Dieng regarded by many as one of the best keepers in the English second-tier and a player who is due a Premier League move.

Once lauded as ‘outstanding’ by former QPR manager Mark Warburton, Dieng has been one of the most consistent performers in the Championship this campaign, with the R’s currently sat 12th in the division following a poor run of form since the departure of Michael Beale.
With Hugo Lloris set to be replaced this summer, Tottenham targeting Dieng as a potential replacement would be a left-field option for Antonio Conte, though the Swiss-born keeper could also be viewed as a new backup, replacing Fraser Forster in north London.
Indeed, this isn’t the first time Dieng has been linked with one of the Premier League big guns, with Arsenal being reported as interested in the QPR star two years ago as a replacement for Icelandic keeper Alex Runarsson. And now, the one-time Gunners target could be heading to Tottenham.
Tottenham signing Dieng as Forster replacement would be wise

Signing a reliable backup goalkeeper can be as valuable as having a quality number one. And for Tottenham, landing Dieng as a potential replacement for Forster would be a smart move from Conte as well as a progressive move in general for the north London side.
Moreover, with QPR now unlikely to win promotion to the Premier League, selling Dieng when his stock is at his highest could win the west London side a profitable pay day, something that could appeal greatly to the Championship side in the summer transfer window.
