According to The Sunday Mirror (03/01), Arsenal and Leeds United are both interested in signing Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Seny Dieng.
It’s claimed that Dieng is attracting major interest, as Crystal Palace also want to sign him during this month’s transfer window.
The three clubs are thought to be pursuing goalkeeping reinforcements behind Bernd Leno, Illan Meslier and Vicente Guaita.
Dieng has established himself as first-choice goalkeeper at QPR this season, and his displays are now putting him in contention for a big Premier League move.
Dieng signed a new deal at QPR in September, but it’s thought that Premier League clubs won’t be put off by that contract.
The 26-year-old is something of a late bloomer, having been with Red Star Zurich, Grasshoppers and MSV Duisburg with limited success before heading to QPR in 2016.

Even then, Dieng had to go out on loan to Whitehawk, Hampton and Richmond, Stevenage, Dundee and Doncaster Rovers before getting a run in the QPR side – and he hasn’t looked back.
The 6ft 4in stopper can play for Switzerland or Senegal, and could now head to the top flight in a quite remarkable rise for Dieng.
