Jude Soonsup-Bell has completed a move to Tottenham Hotspur from Chelsea on a permanent basis and the teenage striker has posted on Instagram after the deal was confirmed – underling his delight at joining the North London side.
The 19-year-old star joins Tottenham from Chelsea after the Blues could not agree a deal to extend his contract in West London. A real talent, he scored 23 goals in 25 games for the U18’s, and has now played 40 times for Chelsea’s U21’s.
But the England Under-18 star has now decided to leave Chelsea and move across London to Spurs. That is despite the Evening Standard claiming that Manchester City had made a bid. But the striker has decided to remain in the Capital.
It is an exciting signing for Spurs. A player that has real potential to go the whole way and provide cover for Harry Kane at Tottenham. He took to Instagram after putting pen to paper on a deal that lasts until the summer of 2025 at Spurs.

It is a real coup for Spurs. Now, it is about getting the right development programme in place for the young striker. Does he leave the club on loan and get regular first-team minutes, or do Spurs wait until the summer before a loan.
Spurs still have Troy Parrott and Dane Scarlett. Both have made a handful of senior appearances. But neither are doing well out on loan. Scarlett has only scored five goals in 29 games so far for League One side Portsmouth, this season.
Parrott is out on loan again, this time at Preston. Injury has hampered his progress. So, Soonsup-Bell will fancy himself to overtake both Parrott and Scarlett, with a view to breaking into the senior Spurs team. A loan may be needed, first.
