Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has now set his asking price to sell Harry Kane to any English rival. The striker is a transfer target of Manchester United, plus Bayern Munich.

That is according to The Telegraph, which reports Levy may let Kane move abroad over the summer. But a Premier League club will have to pay Tottenham £100m to sign the England captain. Even though the 29-year-old will enter into the final year of his contract this June.

Expectations are growing that Kane will again look to leave Tottenham come the summer transfer window. Those close to the forward indicate that only a trophy at Spurs this term or qualifying for the Champions League again will likely be enough to keep him at the club.

Levy knows that his position is weaker than it was in 2021 when Manchester City targeted Kane’s transfer. The attacker has also since turned down an offer to renew his contract at Spurs. He has no interest at present in penning terms past his £200k-a-week deal to 2024.

So, Tottenham are giving thought to the conditions they will demand for Kane’s transfer in the summer. Levy will again prove a fierce negotiator in his bid to keep the striker at Spurs. But he accepts there is a risk of the forward ultimately leaving for free in 18 months’ time.

Bayern Munich may battle Manchester United for Kane’s transfer from Tottenham

Manchester United have long held an interest in Kane’s transfer and could target a deal for the Tottenham talisman. Yet Erik ten Hag is not totally sold on the forward suiting his plans at Old Trafford. Any hesitancy may prove uncomfortable for Kane if he pushes for a move.

Bayern Munich have also entered the scene to explore Kane’s transfer from Tottenham to the Bundesliga. 90min reports Der FCB are hopeful of luring the forward to Germany in the off-season. His camp have also not ruled out the possibility of a move to the Allianz Arena.

The Bavarian powerhouse is not overly keen on spending big sums, though, and feel Kane is worth around the same as what Barcelona paid them for Robert Lewandowski last year. Camp Nou chiefs secured the Poland star’s services for £42.5m in July whilst 33 years old.

Given Levy has now set his price tag for English clubs amid Manchester United’s interest in Kane at £100m, Bayern Munich will surely have to increase their valuation for his transfer. Antonio Conte will surely also be adamant that Levy cannot let Kane leave Spurs this year.

Kane has scored 15 goals in 19 Premier League appearances so far this term. He has also only failed to find the back of the net in six of his matches to see former Liverpool star Don Hutchinson suggest the striker as a super dream target for Saudi-backed Newcastle United.

“If I’m Newcastle, I would be all over Harry Kane in January and the summer,” Hutchinson shared on Twitter after Aston Villa beat Tottenham 2-0 on New Year’s Day. “He would be a sensation up there.”
