According to 90min, Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte wants to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana, who rejected Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in 2021 and is also on the radar of Graham Potter’s Chelsea and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United.

Tottenham linked with Andre Onana who rejected Arsenal

90min have reported that Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea all are interested in signing Onana from Serie A club Inter in the summer transfer window.

Conte is an admirer of Onana and wants to bring the former Ajax goalkeeper to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Former Serie A champions Inter are reportedly ready to sell the 26-year-old Cameroonian goalkeeper in the summer of 2023.

Interestingly, Onana was linked with a move to Tottenham’s bitter North London rivals Arsenal.

Back in November 2021, Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that Arsenal were interested in signing the Cameroonian star.

However, as covered here on HITC Sport, the 26-year-old said no to Arsenal and turned them down.

Onana eventually signed a contract with former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners Inter Milan.

Back in action

Both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are in action in the Premier League today.

Arsenal will lock horns with Brentford at the Emirates Stadium in North London.

Tottenham will face Leicester City away from home at the King Power Stadium.

Former Arsenal star Paul Merson has backed the Gunners to win 2-1 and Spurs to draw 2-2.

Merson wrote on SportsKeeda: “Brentford are playing as well as anybody, and they’re on a roll on a half. If you look at the form table, Brentford are on top at the moment.

“Arsenal played well at Brentford last time, and there’s still a lot of bitterness there from last season. This is going to be a hard game, but I’m backing Arsenal to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table this weekend.”

The Sky Sports pundit added: “I thought Leicester and Tottenham had brilliant results last weekend – they were both outstanding. This is a hard game, and it’s going to be entertaining. Leicester score goals, and I think they’ll be able to hold Tottenham to a draw.”
