Things are getting difficult for Bryan Gil at Tottenham Hotspur.
Not only is the 21-year-old struggling for regular football under Antonio Conte this season, but Spurs seemingly don’t want to let him leave either.
Gil is linked with a return to Sevilla this month.
And according to Marca, the youngster’s entourage have flown to London to convince Tottenham that leaving is the best for all parties.
The Spanish outlet goes on to state that Conte has ‘given up’ on the Spain international, who was only given five minutes in the 3-0 FA Cup win over Championship side Preston North End on Saturday.

Marca continue to write that Conte only wants Gil in North London ‘just incase’ something happens to another player.
But having just signed Arnaut Danjuma – who scored a debut goal on Saturday – there seems to be little need for Gil now.
Whether having Danjuma is enough to convince the Lilywhites to part ways with Gil, however, remains to be seen.
It’s a shame because despite being a little lightweight for English football, Gil is definitely an exciting talent and one who Fabio Paratici wouldn’t have signed unless there was a lot of potential.
He did arrive before Conte, however, and the no-nonsense Italian manager may have different feelings about Gil as a player.
