Here is the latest Tottenham Hotspur transfer news with a move for a £50 million midfielder reportedly heating up.

Conor Gallagher

A new midfielder is set to be one of Ange Postecoglou’s biggest priorities this summer and it seems Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher could be the perfect fit.

We have reported that Aston Villa are stepping up their interest in the midfielder but for a long time, Tottenham Hotspur were considered the most likely destination for the 24-year-old midfielder.

That has been backed up by the Daily Mail who claim that Spurs are interested and could even be prepared to make an offer for the Englishman.

Youseff En-Nesyri

A new centre-forward could also be high on the list of targets for Postecoglou with Richarlison struggling to score consistently for Spurs.

This has led to the North London club to be linked with Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri, who has also been linked with Julen Lopetegui’s West Ham United.

Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo have reported that Sevilla are ready to lower their price tag for the Moroccan forward. It used to be £25 million but the Spanish side could be ready to lower that fee even further.

This is because Sevilla needs the money so the sale of the 27-year-old will be critical. En-Nesyri’s sale will be vital to balance the books.

Radu Dragusin

Next on the list is a potentially surprising outgoing. Romanian defender Radu Dragusin only signed for the North London club from Genoa in January.

Since that move in the winter transfer window, Dragusin has struggled to settle in England with injury problems meaning he has not established himself as a first choice option.

A report from CalcioNapoli24 states that the defender would seek assurances from Tottenham that he will start for the club, otherwise he may seek a move away from North London.

Antonio Conte’s Napoli are mentioned in the report and he could make a move back to Serie A, just six months after leaving the division.

Emerson Royal

The future of another defender is also under the spotlight and that is right-back Emerson Royal, who had a mixed season under Postecoglou.

The right-back has been linked with a surprise move to AC Milan, who are set to appoint for Roma manager Paolo Fonseca as their new manager.

According to a report from Gazzetta Dello Sport, Royal is focused on moving to the San Siro and Spurs could be ready to lower their price tag.

Spurs originally demanded £24 million for the Brazilian but could now seek a fee closer to £15 million, which would be a rather large drop for the defender.

Pedro Porro has established himself as the first choice right-back in North London but Royal did feature at left-back to mixed success. Royal looks set to be leaving Tottenham this summer.
