Danny Murphy says Adama Traore has ‘loads of ability’ after being told that Tottenham Hotspur could still secure a transfer for the Wolves winger.
TalkSPORT transfer expert Alex Crook shared that Fabio Paratici is a ‘big admirer’ of Traore and it’s a deal Traore might look at now accepting with his Wolves contract running down this summer.
The 26-year-old was loaned out to Barcelona last season, and at the time, there was talk that Antonio Conte wanted him in north London.

Barcelona didn’t secure his services full-time, and since then, he has returned to Wolves, including coming off the bench during his side’s 1-1 draw at Aston Villa on Wednesday night.
It’s looking likely that he will leave, with talkSPORT reporter Crook dropping Tottenham’s name into the hat and Danny Murphy stating that he needs the right coach, as they told talkSPORT.
“It didn’t work out for him at Barcelona,” said Crook. “I think this is a big move because it looks like he isn’t going to sign a new contract at Wolves, therefore, if he wants to join a European club, then he can do it in this window and sign a pre-contract.
“Keep an eye on Spurs because Paratici has always been a big admirer of Traore. He was close to joining Spurs before that loan move to Barcelona. They need a right-wing-back, which is the role they were targeting him for. I don’t think he wants to play at right wing-back, that’s why the move didn’t happen. But maybe he might just fancy that now.”
Murphy added: “Loads of ability. Loads of talent. He just needs a good coach. Sometimes you just need to find the right fit and sometimes it comes quicker than others.
“A manager that sees your potential and gives you a role in the side, which suits all your attributes because he has plenty.”

TRAORE AT WING-BACK
Tottenham have three right-sided wing-backs on their books – Matt Doherty, Emerson Royal and Djed Spence.
With talk that Traore would play a wing-back role if he were to sign, then at least one, if not two, of those above players will have to leave.
Emerson Royal doesn’t have much of a fan club at Spurs, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him head for the exit door.
Added to that, Spence just isn’t getting the game time, therefore, it’s best he leaves on loan, which would then open the door for a wing-back to come in.
