Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen star Patrik Schick, with the likes of Arsenal and West Ham also keeping tabs on the Czech Republic international.
According to the Daily Mail, Antonio Conte’s side have joined the growing pack of clubs eyeing a summer move for Schick, with Manchester City and Everton also interested in the 26-year-old striker.
Schick has been one of the most prolific attackers in Europe this season, with the former AS Roma star bagging an impressive 20 goals in 20 Bundesliga appearances, along with three assists for Leverkusen, and this form has now caught the eye of Tottenham.
Hailed as ‘world-class’ by Leverkusen CEO Fernando Carro via Sky Germany, Schick has been sensational this season following on from his incredible showing for the Czech Republic at Euro 2020, where his stunning goal against Scotland was voted goal of the tournament.
With Jeunes Footeux reporting that £50m will be required to sign Schick this summer, Tottenham could well splash the case on the Bundesliga superstar should Harry Kane leave his boyhood club, with City and Manchester United eyeing the striker.
However, given how unlikely a move feels this summer for the Tottenham talisman, Spurs’ interest in Schick feels somewhat unusual given how similar the forward is to Kane, and this could open the door for Arsenal or David Moyes’ West Ham to sign the striker.
Tottenham could lose out on Schick if Kane remains in north London

Kane remains Tottenham’s best player heading into the summer, and the England international could be the reason why Spurs miss out on Schick, with two players oddly similar and unlikely to work in the same system under Antonio Conte.
Moreover, with Heung-min Son having a telepathic relationship with Kane, the duo already work wonders together in the attack, meaning that signing Schick could only complicate matters for Tottenham despite the need for more firepower.
