Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur have made a move to sign Arsenal and Newcastle United-linked Alvaro Morata, according to CM.
CM have reported that Tottenham have enquired about signing Morata in the January transfer window.
The former Chelsea striker is on loan at Juventus from Atletico Madrid at the moment.
Barcelona are also reportedly interested in signing the Spain international striker this summer.
Spanish website Cadena COPE have reported that both Tottenham and Newcastle want to sign the 27-year-old this summer.
The Times have reported that the 29-year-old striker has been offered to Arsenal on loan until the end of the season.
Alvaro Morata loan perfect for Tottenham Hotspur
In our view, Tottenham would be making a good move if they signed Morata on loan until the end of the season.
But, in our opinion, it has to be a straight loan with no obligation on the part of Tottenham to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
Tottenham head coach Conte could do with a striker as support for Harry Kane.

The Italian worked with the Spain international at Chelsea and knows him well.
Conte described the former Real Madrid player as “a fantastic striker”, as quoted in Fotmob in July 2017.
Now, we know that Morata was not a huge success at Chelsea.
After all, the Spaniard scored 16 goals in 47 Premier League appearances during his time at Blues.
However, in our opinion, Morata would be a decent option to have for Conte in the final months of the season, as Tottenham aim to finish in the Premier League top four.
Tottenham would be more appealing to Morata than Newcastle, who are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
