Tottenham ace Emerson Royal has sent a two-word message of encouragement to Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus on his latest Instagram post.

Unfortunately for the 25-year-old, his time at the competition has come to an abrupt end after suffering a knee injury in Brazil’s 1-0 defeat to Cameroon.

However, this setback has also affected his season with the North Londoners, with Brazilian outlet sporttv revealing that he is set to miss 3 months of action.

Since reuniting with Mikel Arteta at the club, Jesus has been key in the side’s dominance in the Premier League this season.

As the Gunners sit top of the league table, the former Manchester City ace’s excellent all-round game has been vital in the side’s incredible progress this campaign.

However, the talismanic forward’s rise has been interrupted, which could also stop his side in their tracks from winning the league.

Royal sends positive message to Jesus

Tottenham defender Emerson Royal, who admitted to have spoken to Edu about joining Arsenal before signing for Spurs (as per ESPN Brazil, as relayed by Football.London ) has sent a positive message to Gabriel Jesus on his latest Instagram post.

As the Brazilian forward posted a picture of himself with a smile on his face, captioned, “time to go home” after his successful surgery (confirmed by Arsenal via Twitter), Royal wished him a “good recovery” in the comments.

The bitter rivalry between the two North London clubs needs no introduction at this point.

However, one aspect that tends to be unanimous amongst those associated with the sport is that wishing injury on any player is out of order.

Instead, one should hope they return to full fitness and continue to prosper.

Tottenham man Emerson Royal is clearly a man of principle as he has left his club’s rivalry with Arsenal behind to wish Gabriel Jesus a successful recovery.
