Arsenal visit Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday in a vital north London derby for Champions League qualification and will face the Premier League top-scorer in the fixture, Harry Kane.
Kane has scored more goals in top-flight meetings between Spurs and the Gunners held at Tottenham than any other player. A total of 52 players have hit the back of the net during north London derbies held at Spurs since the Premier League was formed back in 1992/93.

Yet of those 52, just 12 have scored more than once, and Arsenal icon Thierry Henry does not feature in the exclusive group. Instead, the two-time Premier League champion is one of the 40 boasting one goal at either White Hart Lane or the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Henry among 40 stars with one Premier League goal in Tottenham vs Arsenal
Henry struck his sole Premier League goal at Tottenham as Arsenal claimed a 5-4 victory in November 2004. Noureddine Naybet had broken the deadlock before Henry then drew the Gunners level on the stroke of half-time, as he drilled Lauren’s pass in from 10-yards out.
The 1998 World Cup champion with France had a far superior record against Tottenham at Highbury. Henry enjoyed four goals and an assist in six meetings with Tottenham on home soil. He also never featured on a losing side during a north London derby at home or away.
Arsenal have not enjoyed the same level of success at Tottenham in their recent Premier League trips. Mikel Arteta takes his squad across north London on Thursday night chasing the Gunners’ first top-flight victory there since 2014, losing five of seven and the last two.
Kane and Son Heung-Min handed the Gunners a 2-0 defeat in their last visit to Tottenham in December 2020. Son also drew Spurs level at home to Arsenal in July 2020 on route to a 2-1 win, just three minutes after Alexandre Lacazette had opened the scoring for the Gunners.

Kane is all-time Prem top-scorer in north London derbies held at Spurs
Kane’s goal against Arsenal in December 2020 made the England captain the all-time top-scorer in Premier League north London derbies at a Tottenham stadium. The 28-year-old has faced the Gunners at home in a total of seven games, taking five wins and two draws.
Additionally, the forward has found the back of the net in six of his home encounters with the Gunners to date. Only as Tottenham claimed a 2-1 win through Son and Alderweireld in July 2020 has Kane not featured on the scoresheet. He also hit twice in February 2015.
Kane has not produced to the same devasting level on his visits to the Emirates Stadium. The 69-cap Three Lions striker has travelled to Arsenal in seven Premier League matches, but has returned to Tottenham following three draws and four defeats with four goals.
Arsenal have dealt Tottenham a defeat in the last two north London derbies, with both at the Emirates. Kane did not score in either, as Arteta oversaw a 2-1 win in March 2021 with Martin Odegaard and Lacazette scoring. The Gunners also claimed a 3-1 win in September.

Emile Smith Rowe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Bukayo Saka struck before Son fired a consolation hit in September. Arsenal ran Nuno Espirito Santo’s Spurs side ragged in the first-half to win the north London derby and will now look to do similar at Antonio Conte’s.
All Tottenham and Arsenal goalscorers in Premier League era games at Spurs
Kane faced Arsenal in September amid a dire run of form from the Tottenham striker as he laboured under Nuno. Conte’s arrival at the helm soon revived his season and he will now host the Gunners in much better shape to potentially stretch his position in the goal chart.
It would take a miraculous showing from any Arsenal player to eclipse Kane as the all-time Premier League top-scorer scorer in north London derbies held at Tottenham. Each of the top four Gunners goalscorers in the fixture to date are no longer at the Emirates Stadium.
