Sergio Reguilon may be leaving Tottenham Hotspur after he was left out of Antonio Conte’s squad for the pre-season trip to South Korea.

The pre-season tours are already upon us; it doesn’t feel all that long since the 2021-22 Premier League season ended.

Here we are again though. Pre-season preparations are starting up and down the country with Premier League teams preparing to head off around the world.

Tottenham are gearing up for a return to Champions League football and part of their preparations includes a trip to South Korea.

That will be huge for Son Heung-min as he receives the chance to dazzle in front of his beloved fans in a Tottenham shirt.

Sergio Reguilon may be leaving Tottenham

Some players won’t receive that same chance though with Conte making the decision to leave four first-team players at home.

Harry Winks, Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele have all been left in North London; hardly surprising with transfers expected for all three this summer.

The other name is Reguilon, with this exclusion from the trip to the Far East seemingly a major hint that his days at Tottenham are numbered.

Reports from the London Evening Standard in May suggested that Tottenham were open to selling Reguilon this summer.

Tottenham have since snapped up Ivan Perisic on a free transfer – a player Conte loves – and the idea is for him to play at left wing back.

Conte also seemed to take a liking to Ryan Sessegnon last season and he potentially offers the ideal complement to Perisic’s experience.

That leaves Reguilon on the outside looking in and his omission from the travelling squad may mean the writing is on the wall.

The 25-year-old just wasn’t able to convince under Conte and his season was cut short through injury after the 1-0 defeat to Brighton in April.

Conte looks ready to give up on the Spaniard and with the reports suggesting an exit could be on the cards and now this latest development, it looks Tottenham are ready to say goodbye to the former Real Madrid talent.
