Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are interested in signing Radu Dragusin from Genoa.

That is according to TMW, which has claimed how much Tottenham or Newcastle would have to pay for Dragusin.

Well, according to TMW, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are interested in signing Radu Dragusin from Genoa.

The report has claimed that Newcastle have scouted Dragusin in recent weeks. Tottenham are also keeping tabs on the defender, who is on the radar of Brighton and Hove Albion as well.

TMW has claimed that Genoa plan to extend Dragusin’s current contract until 2028 and then sell him for €30 million (£26 million) in the summer of 2024.

Dragusin has scored one goal and given one assist in 12 Serie A matches so far this season.

The Romania international defender made his loan deal from Juventus permanent in January 2023.

In my opinion, Newcastle United need Radu Dragusin more than Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs are looking good in the centre-back area. Cristian Romero is one of the best defenders in the world, and Micky van de Ven seems to be his ideal partner.

Yes, Eric Dier is out of contract at Tottenham at the end of the season and could even leave in January, but Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou has Ashley Phillips at his disposal. Ben Davies could also play as a centre-back.

Sven Botman is one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League and is a key figure in the Newcastle team. While Fabian Schar, Jamaal Lascelles and Paul Dummett are good centre-backs, I think that the Magpies need someone better to get to the next level.
