Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy plans to sell Eric Dier in the January transfer window.
That is according to The Mirror, which has claimed interest from two clubs in Tottenham defender Dier.
So, what is being reported about Tottenham Hotspur, Daniel Levy and Eric Dier?
Let’s take a look.
What’s the story?
Well, according to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy wants to sell Eric Dier in the January transfer window and get some money in.
Dier is out of contract at Spurs at the end of the season.
Italian club AS Roma, now managed by former Tottenham head coach Jose Mourinho, and Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon want to sign the defender.

Dier, who had a bad game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, joined Tottenham from Sporting back in 2014.
The report has claimed that Dier prefers to leave Tottenham at the end of the season as a free agent, but club chairman Daniel Levy “plans to command a fee for” the defender in January.
Eric Dier should stay put at Tottenham Hotspur
In my opinion, Eric Dier should not leave Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.
I believe that Dier should see out his contract at Tottenham and then move to a different club.
After all, as a free agent next summer, the £85,000-a-week (Spotrac) 29-year-old would be able to negotiate a better contract than he would in January.
AS Roma and Sporting Lisbon are reportedly interested in Dier, who can also operate as a midfielder.
I believe that Roma and Sporting would find Dier more appealing as a free agent next summer than sign him for a transfer fee in the middle of the season.
Dier has made 272 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The Englishman has scored 12 goals, given nine assists, and has kept 86 clean sheets in those games.
