Tottenham have now been told they can sign Celtic target Caoimhin Kelleher for £15m as Liverpool reveal their asking price.
The Irish Independent believe Spurs are keen to sign the Republic of Ireland international as Hugo Lloris is expected to leave north London this summer, while it was The Transfer Room who claimed that Celtic are keen.
Now – as revealed by the Daily Mail – Tottenham could get Caoimhin Kelleher for £15m.
What’s the story?
Well, the 24-year-old is rated highly by Liverpool, although it seems he would like a taste of regular first-team football with Alisson Becker standing in his way at Anfield.
Brentford are also interested in signing Kelleher, but according to the Daily Mail, the Bees feel his £15m valuation is unrealistic.

The Liverpool No.62 has hardly played this season, making just one appearance in the FA Cup and two appearances in the Carabao Cup.
Nevertheless, it was in the latter competition where Kelleher announced himself last season, saving a number of efforts from Chelsea in normal time before also netting his penalty in the eventual shootout at Wembley as the Reds triumphed.
With evident potential to become a star in between the sticks, and plenty of time to fulfil that potential aged 24, we don’t agree that Liverpool’s £15m price tag is unrealistic.
Tottenham well placed to beat Celtic to Kelleher
Unfortunately, those in Scotland simply cannot compete with Premier League sides when it comes to finances.
£15m is a snip for Tottenham, but for Celtic, it would represent a major move which pretty much eats up most of Ange Postecoglou’s summer budget, if not all of it.
Therefore, Liverpool’s valuation pretty much rules Celtic out of the race to sign Kelleher, although for Tottenham, it signals a very tempting opportunity.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as the Irish glovesman could soon be leaving Anfield.
