Tottenham are among the clubs looking at Everton striker Dom Calvert-Lewin – but could Harry Winks inadvertently provide them with the best chance to get him? Everton are one of the clubs eyeing Winks this summer.
Calvert-Lewin, 25, has endured a frustrating season. He managed just 18 appearances due to a toe injury, scoring only five goals. But he did net the winner that kept Everton up, a powerful header to beat Palace 3-2.

Football London claim Tottenham are interested in landing the England international. The Express say he is valued by the Toffees in the region of £70million. A fee probably deemed too expensive by the Spurs board.
But now, they might have just been given the ideal chance to reduce that price tag and sign Calvert-Lewin. Winks is expected to leave Spurs this summer and reports claim that Everton want to sign the midfielder.
Could Winks give Tottenham best Calvert-Lewin chance?
The chances of any interested party paying £70million after his 2021-22 campaign is unlikely. But Spurs have the chance to reduce that asking price to just £50million, thanks to Winks. Everton are not the only side keen.
Indeed, Fulham, Southampton and Sevilla are also taking a look at the England midfielder. They say a fee of £20million would be enough to sanction his exit. Surely, with Everton keen, a deal can be done?
Spurs have got to take advantage of Everton’s interest in Winks and suggest a player-plus-cash deal. £50million, plus Winks, for Calvert-Lewin is still a huge offer – and one that Everton simply cannot turn down.
