Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur will have to pay £25 million to sign Adama Traore from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the January transfer window, according to Sky Sports.

Sky Sports have reported that Wolves are looking for £25 million to sell Traore, a client of super-agent Jorge Mendes.

Tottenham are reportedly willing to pay £15 million for the 25-year-old Spain international winger.

The Telegraph have claimed that Spurs have had a bid of £15 million for Traore turned down by Wolves.

Should Tottenham Hotspur pay £25 million for Wolves?

In our view, Tottenham should pay the £25 million needed to sign Traore.

Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte reportedly wants to sign the former Aston Villa winger to play as a right wing-back.

And the winger is reportedly eager to make the move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and play under Conte.

Tottenham are in a very good position to finish in the Premier League top four this season.

So, in our opinion, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy should at least try to give Conte the players he wants – and needs – to get the job done.

A transfer fee of £25 million is not really much, especially for a 25-year-old whose best years are ahead of him.

Now, we know that Traore does not score too many goals or provides too many assists,

The Wolves no. 37 has scored eight goals and created 22 big chances in 159 Premier League appearances so far in his career.

However, under Conte, Traore would enhance his game and get better.
