Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with potential new signings as Ange Postecoglou looks to add to his squad this summer.
A disappointing end to the season saw Tottenham Hotspur miss out on Champions League qualification.
Ange Postecoglou will have seen some encouraging signs last season but needs more signings as Tottenham look to cope with the added workload of playing in the Europa League.
Tottenham already have two signings coming in with Timo Werner returning and Lucas Bergvall finally starting his Spurs career after agreeing to join in February.
More signings are wanted though, so let’s take a look at some of the names being linked with Tottenham right now…

Santiago Gimenez
Tottenham are expected to sign a new striker this summer in order to replace Harry Kane following his departure last summer.
One of the main names mentioned in recent months is Santiago Gimenez after the Mexican impressed at Feyenoord.
Gimenez hit 23 goals and six assists in 30 Eredivisie games this past season and seems ready for a big move to take the next step in his career.
HITC understands that Tottenham have held an interest in Gimenez but claims from Mexico suggest that a deal is moving in the right direction.
TUDN Radio report that Gimenez is ‘very close’ to joining Tottenham despite interest from Atletico Madrid.
English sources are yet to back up that claim but the Mexican media seem confident that Gimenez will be heading to England this summer.
Michael Kayode
Tottenham continue to be active in the Italian market with Fabio Paratici continuing to serve as an advisor despite his 2023 exit.
Reports in Italy now suggest that Tottenham are very interested in signing Fiorentina talent Michael Kayode.
Fiorentina want around €40million (£34million) for Kayode and ideally want to keep hold of the 19-year-old.
Kayode predominantly played as a right back and has already picked up three caps for the Italian Under-19’s.
Previously of lowly Gozzano, Kayode has shown considerable potential in Serie A and Tottenham may view him as competition for Pedro Porro moving forward.
Giovanni Leoni
Another Italian talent on the Tottenham radar is Sampdoria talent Giovanni Leoni.
Tuttosport claim that Tottenham want to sign centre back Leoni, viewing him as a real talent for the future.
Sampdoria are keen to cash in on the teenager but would like to take him back on loan for a year.
Tottenham pulled off a similar deal to sign Destiny Udogie from Udinese and may well be willing to repeat the trick with Leoni.
17-year-old Leoni is a huge presence at 6ft 4in tall and has shown potential in Italy’s second tier with Sampdoria.
The Rome-born defender is certainly one for the future rather than an immediate first-team player, so maybe Tottenham will be willing to agree that loan-back demand.
Lutsharel Geertruida
Tottenham are looking at more established defenders too with Feyenoord’s Lutsharel Geertruida linked.
The Mirror (23/06, p73) claimed that Tottenham are in pole position to sign versatile defender Geertruida.
Caught Offside even suggest that Tottenham have already made a contract offer to Geertruida, presenting him with a five or even six-year deal.
The latest rumours highlight that Spurs are far from alone in the race for Geertruida though.
Foot Mercato claim that Paris Saint-Germain are now pushing to sign the Dutchman – and he is interested in a move to the French capital.
Geertruida’s ability to play at centre back, right back and even in defensive midfield is very appealing but Tottenham seemingly face a major battle with PSG for his signature.
