Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane said on Sky Sports News (1:33pm, November 7, 2020) that he is pleased with Jamie Carragher’s recent comments about him.
Former Liverpool star Carragher recently praised Kane on Sky Sports as the best passer of the ball in the Premier League after Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, as quoted on TEAMtalk.
Kane was played that clip from Monday Night Football during the interview on Sky Sports News, and he was pleased with the compliment from the Sky Sports pundit.
The striker said on Sky Sports News (1:33pm, November 7, 2020): “I have always liked Jamie to be fair. Look, that’s a great compliment to have.
“I feel like it has been part of my game, I feel like if I get into those areas and can pick people out, it’s a great compliment and hopefully there’s a few more assists left in me this season.”
Harry Kane is evolving as a footballer
Kane is one of the best strikers in the world, and if he stays at Tottenham for the rest of his career, then he could become the top scorer of the North London club.
What the England international is doing this season is creating chances and providing assists for his teammates.
The 27-year-old striker is playing as a number 10 at times during games, and it seems that he is now evolving as a footballer.
According to WhoScored, Kane has scored six goals and provided eight assists in seven Premier League matches, and has scored one goal and provided one assist in two Europa League games for Spurs so far this season.
