Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur plan to make a bid for Arsenal target Lautaro Martinez, according to Alfredo Pedulla.
The well-known and well-respected Italian journalist has reported on his website that Tottenham will make an offer of over €90 million (£77 million) for the Inter Milan striker.
The 24-year-old Argentina international reportedly want to stay at Inter, but Spurs ‘will do the impossible’ to sign him.
Pedulla has said that it is up to Inter whether to sell Martinez or not.
Chelsea have also been linked with Martinez, described as “perfect” by former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves on BT Sport 1 (2:27pm, December 13, 2021), while The Times reported last month that the striker has turned down Arsenal because of the Gunners’ failure to reach the Champions League.

Big commitment
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur reportedly willing to pay over €90 million (£77 million) for Lautaro Martinez shows big commitment from them.
It would make the striker Tottenham’s most expensive signing of all time.
Tanguy Ndombele is Tottenham’s most expensive arrival at £54 million at the moment.
Martinez scored 21 goals and gave three assists in Serie A last season, and scored 17 goals and provided six assists in the league in 2020-21.
