Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are now facing competition from Paris Saint-Germain for Hugo Ekitike, according to 90min.
90min have reported that Newcastle opened talksfor Reims striker Ekitike last week and are keen on bringing him to St. James’ Park in the January transfer window.
Brighton and Hove Albion and Brentford have made approaches as well.
Tottenham and West Ham are also reported to be interested in the 19-year-old French striker.
90min are now reporting that Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG have made contact with Ekitike’s representatives and are looking at him as a long-term replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who is out of contract at the club at the end of the season.

Advantage PSG over Tottenham and Newcastle?
In our view, Pochettino’s PSG have the clear advantage over Tottenham and Newcastle over Ekitike.
Newcastle are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Tottenham are in a fight to finish in the top four of the Premier League table.
PSG are set to win the Ligue 1 title this campaign and are regulars in the Champions League.
In our view, a move to PSG would appeal to Ekitike more than a transfer to Tottenham or Newcastle.
Now, Mbappe could leave PSG at the end of the season, but the French club would still have Lionel Messi and Neymar.
Any footballer would be tempted to play alongside Messi and Neymar.
