Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Kristian Thorstvedt from Genk in the January transfer window, according to The Sun.
The Sun have reported that Tottenham are eyeing a move for attacking midfielder Thorstvedt this month.
The 22-year-old is reportedly valued at £22 million and is the son of former Tottenham goalkeeper Erik Thorstvedt.
Kristian Thorstvedt would make Tottenham better
In our view, Thorstvedt would not be a bad signing for Tottenham in the January trans window.
Conte needs more creativity in his midfield, and Thorstvedt could help with that.
Now, of course, the Norway international attacking midfielder is not the finished article and is only 22.

However, in our view, Tottenham should speak to Genk and try to make a deal for Thorstvedt happen now.
We also think that the Norway international himself would love to move to Tottenham.
The youngster has previously said of his desire to play for Tottenham.
Thorstvedt has told Dagsavisen in September 2021: “That has always been in my dreams, but a lot must happen for it to become a reality. I try not to think much about it.
“It has always been Spurs for me. I am happy in Belgium. I have lots of games to look forward to in the league, the domestic cup and in the Europa League.
Back in October 2021, Aftertepoften compared Thorstvedt to Bayern Munich and Germany star Thomas Muller.
Just like Muller, the 22-year-old Norwegian has good positional sense inside the opposition box, created chances for his teammates, scores goals, and times his runs perfectly.
Thorstvedt has scored three goals and provided two assists in 19 Jupiler Pro League so far this season.
