Brentford have snapped up J’Neil Bennett with the former Tottenham Hotspur winger securing a move to the West London club.
Harry Kane has become a global superstar after coming through the Tottenham ranks.
Yet not everybody in the Tottenham academy can go down that path.
Some end up being sold and thrive elsewhere, such as Kyle Walker-Peters and Marcus Edwards.
Others are released and have to build themselves backup again, which is the case for winger Bennett.

Bennett, 20, came up through the Tottenham ranks having previously been on the books at Queens Park Rangers until 2017.
Bennett showed plenty of potential for Tottenham’s Under-18’s.
17 goals and eight assists in 36 games for the Under-18’s – per Transfermarkt – was a hugely impressive record.
Bennett never quite replicated that for the Under-21’s, notching just five goals and three assists in 42 games.
The young wide man did though spend time on loan at Crewe Alexandra last season, grabbing one goal and one assist in 11 games.
Crewe even called Bennett ‘starboy’ after turning in a superb performance against Burton Albion at Gresty Road.
Bennett just wasn’t able to break through at Tottenham though and was released at the end of last season.
Bennett had the honour of being the first player to score at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following its opening in 2019 but he has been without a club for months.
Brentford have now confirmed the signing of Bennett, handing him a contract until the end of the season with the option of another year.
Bennett had been training with the Bees earlier this season but a back injury halted his progress.
Brentford are now happy to give Bennett a deal and hope to see him developing in their B team this season.
The winger would no doubt love to prove Tottenham wrong for letting him go and he now has a platform to really kick on after his Spurs release.
