Tottenham Hotspur may not have a manager, but that hasn’t stopped them from being linked with new signings.

Bild now report that Tottenham are in the race to sign Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter this summer.

It’s suggested that Liverpool and Inter Milan are also keen on Ginter, with just one year left on his contract with Gladbach.

Gladbach may be forced to sell this summer if Ginter doesn’t sign a new deal, and Spurs are believed to be waiting with open arms.

The 27-year-old has played every minute of Gladbach’s Bundesliga campaign, emerging as one of Marco Rose’s most reliable players.

A strong defender at 6ft 3in tall and able to play out from the back, Ginter has proven himself with Gladbach having endured a difficult time at Borussia Dortmund.

Spurs need centre backs this summer, and fans seem pleased with the Ginter rumours, calling him ‘class’ and ‘really good’.

Others are begging for the rumours to be true, seemingly believing that Ginter is the upgrade on Eric Dier that Spurs need to find this summer.
